So here's what happens in a successful 3 day embryo transfer:) right now I guess I'm 4 days past a 3 day transfer:)
3-Day Transfer
Days Past
Transfer (DPT) Embryo Development
One The embryo continues to grow and develop, turning from a 6-8 cell embryo into a morula
Two The cells of the morula continue to divide, developing into a blastocyst
Three The blastocyst begins to hatch out of its shell
Four The blastocyst continues to hatch out of its shell and begins to attach itself to the uterus
Five The blastocyst attaches deeper into the uterine lining, beginning implantation
Six Implantation continues
Seven Implantation is complete, cells that will eventually become the placenta and fetus have begun to develop
Eight Human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) starts to enter the blood stream
Nine Fetal development continues and hCG continues to be secreted
Ten Fetal development continues and hCG continues to be secreted
Eleven Levels of hCG are now high enough to detect a pregnancy

Heard back from Dr. Werlin on the last 3 embryos
Good news / bad news but still positive!!!!! Okay so dr Werlin called this morning, he said that one of the 3 remaining embryos made it to the blast stage but the quality wasn't great. So he didn't freeze it because he didn't think it would work on a FET if we ever decided to thaw it out for a future attempt. Now to the good news he says because of that, it leads him to believe that the ones inside of me (because of the great quality) would have made it to blasts as well so we have a really good shot at getting pregnant this cycle:)

On pins and needles
Waiting for Dr. Werlin to call me to let me know if my 3 remaining embryos made it to freeze. Every time the phone rings my heart drops! Going insane!
A special thank you

But I have to say thank you to my bible study girlfriends, Sara, Dor and Claud!!! You guys are the greatest! All three have made meals for us and Dor is here with me now:) she's also coming back tomorrow:) thank you so much guys for all of your love, prayers and support! You guys are the best!

Fert Report is in!
Okay so out of the 14 eggs retreived, 11 were considered good eggs. Out of the 11 that were injected with sperm, 7 fertilized!!!! So we are working with 7 beautiful fertilized eggs:) We are happy with that number:) I on the other hand am struggling this morning in pain from yesterdays procedure, so I am going to take it easy and try to rest as much as possible.

We are off to a good start! 14 eggs were retrieved and that is the most that we have ever been able to retrieve in all 4 fresh cycles, so already I am feeling positive about this! Yay!!!! Luis got me some lunch, I finished my work, and now I am getting sleepy from the anesthesia so Mia and I are off to cuddle and take a nap:)
